OK so everyone knows I am awful at keeping up on my blog but this was too funny and I couldn't resist. I am the official lawn mower at our house mostly because I am always home (going out in public with 4 kids is not my idea of a good time). Dave being the super husband that he is tries to help whenever he can but it isn't that often. A couple of weeks ago I asked him to sharpen the blade on our lawnmower and he did an awesome job. After he got it put back together he fired up the mower and mowed our lawn for the first time this year. After about 10 steps he ran over 2 hoses and cut each of them in half. This is a picture of him repairing the broken hoses and sorry for the finger he didn't think this was so funny. Notice all the broken pieces in front of him. Too funny!!!

Moab
Recently we went to Moab and had a lot of fun. On the way down there Davey learned a little more about himself. He thought Uncle Rustin was the smartest guy on the planet until he discovered that Rustin thinks dirt is amazing. Davey even said that he used to think Rustin was very smart until he liked dirt and went on to say that he is probably fascinated with poop as well. Davey says the most random things and sometimes can blow you away with them. Well back to the trip, as soon as we hit the San Rafuel Valley (Don't know how to spell that) and he saw the plateu's and red dirt he was amazed. He wasn't saying a whole lot so I asked him what he thought, he said he was speechless, not understanding fully why I asked him what he meant and he said that he felt bad for thinking Rustin was dumb and that now he too thinks dirt is pretty cool. After getting there and getting the hotel we went and saw the Arches and let the kids swim. It was crazy to be swimming outside in 50 degree weather but it was pretty warm and the kids had a blast. The next day we went on a bike ride at Dead Horse Point 4.4 miles and Davey and Keili rode it all, I was so proud of them. Keili even fell in the thick sand and kept on going wow that girl is tough.
On our last day there Dave got to ride Slick Rock. He was so excited. Dave loves mountain biking and has a very nice, very expensive bike, people always ask him when they find out about his hobby if he has ridden Slick Rock and hated saying no. This is the trail (somewhere) it was a lot of up and down.
We dropped him off in the morning for the 10 mile ride on the petrified dunes and this is what he looked like when we got him. He never ceases to amaze me.
Well it was a pretty fun trip and I think besides complaining about not being able to stay in the hotel pool all day and night the kids loved it too. We had a lot of fun and a lot of sun.

Alex got his 1st tooth!!!
It is true, hard to believe but true Alex has a tooth and at 8 months is way early for my kids. He is also crawling so the good 'ol days of putting him down and not worrying about stairs is over. Oh well, he still is a great baby and super cute if I have to say so myself. I love this picture!
OK so it has been forever since I have added anything to this I am terrible.

Alex is 4 months old and....
he just went to the Dr. He is a whopping 19 lb 8 oz. He is 98% for his weight and height but his head is 57%. No wonder it's a killer to carry him in his seat. Well, he is still a great baby, I've been pretty lucky!

Breaking in the new house!
Well, we finally made and we are almost all the way unpacked. It feels great having room I love it. The kids and I love being able to play outside in our back yard. They have a sand box and swing set thanks to the man we bought the home from.
He was also left a not so loved gift, Oreo, Keili's cat. He's a good cat and GREAT with the kids, especially Keili who thinks he is her kid and put him in the stroller and treats him like a baby, a cat was just not anywhere near the top of our want or even need list.
Well as for "breaking in the new house" Keili took a bath last night in my tub and turned the jets on creating a memory for us (she is great at creating those). You gotta love 'em..

We're finally done!
We closed on our house today and signed our life away for the next 30 years. HOORAY! I am so excited. We get to start moving on Tuesday (Keili's birthday). I am so excited to have so much room, I may have already said this but we are going from a 900 sq ft 2 bedroom to 2450 sq ft and 5 bedrooms, we will look so poor because we'll have no furniture but who cares we can breathe again even having a family of 6. We also have a garage so more more scrapping windows in the winter and no more bikes in the house. Well anyway I could go on forever about the excitement but I just wanted to let everyone know we're finally moving.

Dave's Home YEAH!!!!!!
Dave got home yesterday from a business trip in Arkansas where he learned about working together as a team and being a leader. I sure miss him when he's gone but he said he had a great time. I thought this picture was fun I haven't asked him about it yet so I couldn't tell you what's going on except that I am glad he caught that swing thing.
Looks like a tough job huh.
